| Child Development Center | ||||
The Child development Center is a licensed, inclusive childcare program for children ages 6 weeks through 6 years old. As an inclusive center, we accept children of all abilities and cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. For example, some of the children we serve come from low-income families; some are in need of protective care, while others may have other special needs such as Aspergers Syndrome or motor and speech delays. The center and its qualified staff offer a developmentally appropriate environment that is adaptive to each child’s individual needs. The program enables children to receive needed therapies helping to bridge the gap between school and home. In addition, children who have been abused and neglected are provided a safe environment. The importance of including children with special needs in programs for all children cannot be underestimated. This inclusive child care center benefits many children of differing abilities, providing the benefit of role modeling and friendship of typically developing peers and the learning of vital life skills. What is unique about our center is that we provide a quality learning environment with low teacher/child ratios and treat each child as an individual. All of the children participate in activates at his/her own developmental pace. They learn to appreciate each other’s differences at an early age through interactions during play and other learning activities. Jen Ramsay Our Teachers are CPR and First Aid certified. They boast a strong variety of educational pedigrees, holding Associates and Bachelors degrees. All have at least six Early Childhood Education credits. Our Rates are as follows: Thanks to a partnership with the State of New Hampshire, some families may be eligible for a Title XX scholarship, which provides sliding scale rates.
