Social Thinking Summer Camp is Now Enrolling
Does your child struggle with understanding social cues and making conversation with peers and adults? Let them spend a week at The Moore Center practicing their social interactions and learning about social thinking in a fun, activity-based camp with a group of kids in a relaxed atmosphere.
At Social Thinking camp, kids will learn about expected and unexpected social behaviors, understanding boundaries, body language, turn-taking, and other communication skills.
New this year! Parents: you’re invited to join us for the last hour of camp for a celebration and to talk about all that your kids have done during the week. Resources will also be provided to help you continue promoting growth in social thinking skills at home.
Camp will be held Monday through Friday, August 19th to 23rd, and we’ll hold two groups:
Mornings: Children ages 6 to 10, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Afternoons: Children ages 11 to 16 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
If your child needs 1:1 support, please plan to send someone with them and let us know who will be accompanying them. There’s no additional charge for this. If you have questions or concerns about the level of support, please reach out to us to have a conversation. We want camp to be a fun and engaging experience for everyone!
This camp is $20 for Region 7 families (Auburn, Bedford, Candia, Goffstown, Hooksett, Londonderry, Manchester, New Boston) and is $100 for all others. Region 7 families: Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for a Promotional Code discount.
Group size is limited to 7 campers per age group so space will fill up quickly – register today!
