We’re Hiring: Residential Assistant Manager

Our Residential Services Program places individuals with intellectual disabilities into adult foster care homes. As a Residential Assistant Manager you’ll work within our Residential Services team to support new placements into family home environments, as well as manage existing ones, ensuring that our clients and providers are getting the services and support they need to thrive.

It’s a challenging, yet very rewarding opportunity to help families and their loved ones who are affected by a variety of intellectual disabilities. This dynamic position includes meeting with individuals, families and providers to understand their needs, and then ensuring those needs are met through the best possible placement.

Job Requirements/Skills

As a Residential Assistant Manager you’ll support the operation of the department overall, while also supporting residential coordinators and working directly with clients and providers. Ideal candidates would typically have two years experience as a Direct Support Professional, a Case Manager in Social Services, or another position that works directly with individuals with intellectual disabilities. Here are some of the key position responsibilities:

  • Help providers understand the resources available to them
  • Learn the State of New Hampshire Residential Services regulations
  • Assist managers in overseeing providers, staff, and coordinators
  • Training of providers to ensure the quality of care to our clients
  • Problem solving
  • Finding creative solutions to challenging situation
  • Managing a client/provider case load
