Randy Pierce spoke at the Moore Center’s annual celebration about his 2020 vision quest.

“I can’t see, but I celebrate ability awareness. What you can do is always going to be more important than what you can’t do,” Pierce said.

With his guide dog Autumn at his side, Pierce shared how he lost his sight to a neurological disorder.

“On July 4 2010, I climbed Mount Washington,” he said.

Pierce has hiked around the globe and crossed the Boston Marathon finish line three times. He plans to run the race again in April.
