Bureau of Developmental Services System Work Community Forum

The Moore Center is hosting an important, in-person and virtual BDS System Work forum on Thursday, May 19th in cooperation with the Family Support Council.

In-person seating is limited, so this will be a hybrid forum with in-person seats for the Family Support Council members, while other families can join via Zoom.

NOTE: This session is open via Zoom to all New Hampshire families.

There are very important and impactful changes to the service system being considered and we strongly urge you to participate in the Bureau of Developmental Services System Work Community Forum to discuss them.

In the fall of 2020, the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) underwent a review conducted by Alvarez & Marsal – Public Sector Services (A&M). While the review provided recommendations to more effectively and efficiently support citizens in New Hampshire across DHHS programs, it identified several opportunities for BDS to update how individuals and families access supports and services, while ensuring an adequate provider network is available.

DHHS is working to implement the following identified opportunities:

• Waiver Changes
• Reimbursement Rate Changes
• Information System Updates
