Eric Zimmerman is a 29-year-old male with autism who founded The Buddy Project, an organization that provides technology and training to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. He came to The Manchester Area Autism Support Group’s most recent meeting and spoke about his life and journey with autism. He is high-functioning and has the ability to express his experiences, giving a unique perspective.
Through all of Eric’s hardships, with the help of a great support system he turned negatives into positives and never took no for answer. Eric has had much success with The Buddy Project, speaking tours and book releases. Parents at the ASD Support Group meeting enjoyed his presentation, “Dare to be Different”.
Thank you to Eric and The Buddy Project!
